My craft room/studio is always a work in progress. I’m a visual person and I found I needed a bulletin board of some sort to hold onto items I wanted to see for inspiration on a daily basis. The idea of a floor to ceiling cork wall was on my brain but wall space is limited now that I have the giant peg boards up on an entire wall so I had to use the only available space left.
In order to add some visual interest to the idea of a traditional bulletin board I went with hexagon shape tiles. I LOVE me some hexys! These are from Amazon, can be seen here. 8 tiles per pack. They went up incredibly easy and are of a much better quality than other cork tiles I have seen. The sticky squares used to place them on the wall work great with textured drywall and did not budge once I put them up. Figuring out the overall shape I wanted was the hardest part of the whole project
Small projects like this one are quick wins and will be very useful for this space.
