Crocheters out there know, the granny square stitch is common and fairly simple. It works up quickly and with almost any type of yarn. In my internet search for a more modern version of the granny square blanket, I came across a few showing alternating colors and a white border. This project was something I could do little by little, 1 square at a time and not have to always carry the entire blanket with me. To join the squares, I crocheted them together instead of stitching them together. I like my cool granny square blanket. (yes, I used cool and granny in the same sentence!)
Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon on a daily basis.
It’s always helpful to read through articles from other writers and practice a little something from other sites.
Very descriptive blog, I liked that a lot. Will there be a part
