My latest inspiration from a Pinterest find came from this beautiful striped infinity scarf found at Plus3Crochet
Even though we are in the middle of summer, I am thinking ahead to gorgeous winter gems. The original post provides a little bit of instruction but not a full tutorial for this project. I added length to mine by adding more rows in the stripes so I could get the desired 60″+. With that length, the scarf can be looped twice and worn as a chunky cowl. The original only went to 40″ or so. This scarf was different from others in that it is done in the round, basically creating a long tube. My finished product was 6″ wide (12″ tube) and 62″ long.
When I started this scarf, I wasnt sure if I was going to like it. It didn’t look like much when it was in progress. I really wanted to like it, because I like how the end product looked on Plus3Crochet’s blog so I kept chugging along. Not gonna lie, was a lot of work constantly changing colors, but I am sooo glad I kept going! You can see it here in the shop for anyone wanting to add some color to their wardrobe accessories.
