Crochet Toddler Girl Slippers

Loving my first finished pair of toddler girl flats, or as the pattern maker TwoGirlsPatterns calls them, Valerie Slippers.  They are gorgeous!  I purchased the pattern on Etsy along with a few others.  This pair is done in a beautiful teal with white trim.  As you can see I’ve attached my signature cards which not only make the item feel special to the person receiving it but also provide care instructions on the back.  I packaged this pair inside a 6″ square decorative cupcake box I found at Michael’s.  The cupcake boxes make perfect ‘little people shoe boxes’ AND they have a clear cut-out on the lid so you can peek into the box.  Many ask if these slippers come in adult sizes and luckily the pattern makers have thought of that too!  As soon as I am done with a prototype of those I will get some photos out.

************************ UPDATE **************************

The response to the crochet toddler girls slipper has been awesome.  I’ve made several pairs for family and friends and took the challenge of modifying the style to a newborn size.  Luckily I remembered to take pictures of the cuties before sending them on their way.  Enjoy!
